The Laboratory makes research into the phase composition of powdered material and composition of colloid solutions. The objects of research are metal and oxide powdered materials, catalyssts, absorbents, porous support matrix for catalysts.
The following results have been obtained:
- A series of research studies of finely dispersed oxides has been conducted, which represents one of the fundamental issues in heterogeneous catalysis (metastable phases of iron, alluminum and gallic oxides).
- Special features of diffraction during the formation of coherent 3-D nanostructures have been established.
- Nanosized metallic alloys and intermetallic compounds in the systems of “low melting point -refractory metals” have been studied.
- A contrast technique for a number of porous oxide absorbents and catalyst support has been developed. It allows conducting selective research of nanostructures from metallic catalysts
The Laboratory is a member of the NSU Analytical and Technological Innovation Center for High Technologies and New Materials.
