The Laboratory conducts research in a wide range of areas relative to information technologies. Studies are carried out in the field of compilers, and are undergone testing of the latest Intel software and hardware platforms, including mobile platforms and the Internet of things (IoT.) Work on computational mathematics and numerical modeling in different branches of natural science is in progress.
In collaboration with the Siberian supercomputer center are conducted a series of studies in the field of high performance computing using supercomputers, such as the development of new algorithms and software aimed at solving problems in Geophysics, Astrophysics, Petroleum Geology and Geophysics.
